It is the most “sweet” honey of Greek nature with a soft taste and a light color.

Flower honey is collected from the nectar of flowers and herbs in the mountains of the Peloponnese.

Flower honey is more sweet and gentle than other honey. The flower grows relatively quickly since its natural glucose content is high. Crystallization is a natural phenomenon that does not cause any change in the nutritional and biological quality of honey.

A crystallized honey is neither damaged nor adulterated. Crystallized honey is easily fluidized into ben marie, without losing any of its biological and nutritional properties.

It usually crystallizes 4-6 months after its collection.

It is produced in the areas of Parnon from the nectar and the honey secretions of chestnut,

The color varies depending on its origin from light brown to dark brown and black in the case of honey.

It is a strong aromatic honey with a strong and slightly bitter taste. It crystallizes slowly after 1-2 years.

It is rich in trace elements and amino acids. Honey is probably the richest in trace elements such as potassium, magnesium, manganese, barium and fructose and tannins because of the chestnut tree. In addition, chestnut honey has a particularly high content of metallic elements.

Chestnut honey speeds up blood circulation and acts as astringent in some cases of dysentery.

It has significant antimicrobial activity against various microorganisms such as Staphylococcus, Enterococcus, pylorus Helicobacter and both types of candida.

Also distinguished for astringent, disinfecting and healing properties particularly useful in the urinary tract.

It enhances mental clarity, helps in pregnancy and venous insufficiency.
